If the key is not programmed for the vehicle, it will shut down after two seconds of running.

9. After roughly ten seconds, a single bell will sound and the anti theft alarm light will stop.
10. Wait five seconds and swing the ignition lock to the OFF state.

In 2010 Dodge began disallowing the dash-board key programming feature for some vehicles.
